Hello, we are Scott and Jack and together we built SJ Mortgages. With over 16 years between us, we have the experience and knowledge to find the best mortgage or policy for you. We are whole of market mortgage advisors with access to over 90 lenders. This means we have no affiliation with any lenders so we can take an impartial view to find the best deal for you.

Having started working as a cashier in a well-known bank 11 years ago, Jack worked hard and made his way up the career ladder. In early 2015 he became fully qualified to provide advice on mortgages. Being very customer focused, he strongly believes in treating people in the way in which he would want to be treated.
Being totally independent and having access to the whole of the mortgage market means that he can advise his clients no matter what their circumstances to their best interest.
Outside of work, Jack is a keen football fan with Portsmouth being his favourite team. He also enjoys running and completed the London Marathon in 2021.
Starting his career in the banking industry, Scott joined John Charcol in 2018. Here he became a whole of market broker. This gave Scott the opportunity to provide the quality personal service he strived for with no restrictions.
Being able to assist clients in different circumstances and get positive outcomes is what drives Scott.
Away from SJ Mortgages, Scott is also a keen football fan supporting Southampton. He tries to watch them at least a couple times a year. He also enjoys spending time with his family.
